I remastered Ep. 3: Robin Hanson on Decision-Prediction Markets in Firms, The Long Road to Innovation and the Future of Governance w/ Tom Bennett
It now has the better audio quality and a more organic flow of conversation.

It was a true highlight having Robin and Tom on, both of which ended up visiting Prospera in 2022 - below my picture doing a fireside chat with Robin:
My highlight of the episode was Robin’s “last sermon” speech:
There's all these people in the world who want to help the world.
They feel altruistic, they're willing to spend some of their free time helping the world. And what they end up doing is like reading a lot and then giving speeches and then joining sides of various political fights.
And then they sort of wistfully wish that like the world could be different in some ways, but there's just all these actual ways the world could be different.
And the limiting factor is people doing these small scale experiments. That's actually the limiting factor for lots of big ideas that could change the world.
And the limiting factor is not having lots of people willing to go out and march and and yell for them or advocate for them at parties.
The limiting factor is concrete, small scale experiments on promising ideas. That's a limiting factor on what, how the world changes.
