Government Regulations and "Complexity"
When I talk about how government regulation holds back innovation, I often hear “it’s complex”.
I agree and disagree.
Imagine running data science-heavy business operations on an MS-DOS operating system.
That is helluvalot complex!
But it doesn't need to be complex.
Changing the operating system is not complex if you let it. Working with an old operating system is complex.
Simple rules, light touch, high-performance, based on testing - that is the way to go for regulations.
Catawba Digital Economic Zone (CDEZ) for example just released their new business incorporation laws, friendly to DAOs & crypto / web3.
This is the iOS 16 alternative to MS-DOS.
I had CEO Joseph McKinney on my podcast in the past to explain how CDEZ (iOS 16) is disrupting Delaware (MS-DOS).
